However, the conical taper causes the tip to move diagonally away from the bridge hand as you stroke, affecting the impact point of the tip on the ball and making precise aiming more difficult. The REVO 3C carom shafts are made of carbon composite, which is naturally much stiffer and stronger than wood. This allowed us to design a taper that is technically more precise to aim with.
